The haunting question of why Ed survived cannot be answered, but what he was supposed to do while surviving became very clear. To love, not only the many groups he’d spoken to about recovery, but the guys and gals he’d tried to help by being a sponsor, or just a friend. Ed cherishes the personal opportunities to love each person that has come his way before and after each event survived.
