Ruth Sanders is married  and the mother of two daughters. She and her husband Bill have lived in Ocean Springs for thirty-two years.

Ruth is a Registered Nurse with an advanced degree in Adult Health. She received her degree from the University of South Alabama.

A nurse with the Department of Defense since 1975, Ruth wanted to share her experience as a civilian working in health care for the government in a military environment
