Stevens...
Award-winning broadcast journalist,
Elaine Stevens founded her San Diego based creative production and
media consulting firm in 1995. During her tenure in San Diego, Stevens
has become well known as a media professional whose broad range of
creative abilities include writing, producing, media campaigns, video
production, literary and editorial collaboration and copy writing, as
well as a skilled voice-over and on-camera talent.
Hailing from
the Deep South, Stevens achieved both fame and notoriety for her
ground breaking investigative journalism at ABC affiliate WLOX-TV in
Biloxi, Mississippi. There she became the first female anchor of the
very first all female news team in the country along with such
notables as ABC’s Robin Roberts.
A seasoned
writer, producer and broadcaster, Stevens has a proven track record in
developing successful and nationally acclaimed media campaigns and
corporate productions. With a television and radio media career,
spanning more than 25 years, Stevens has honed her intuitive knack in
discovering just the right “hook” for a number of high profile clients

original programming and nationally acclaimed productions, Stevens
continues to produce unusual visual projects utilizing the industry’s
latest techniques in animation, motion graphics matching her verbal
imagery with a unique flair. The Food Network recently nibbled on
an original festival special, which Stevens wrote, produced and
coordinated at locations on both the East and West Coasts.
In the summer of
2001, sTeVens Media Productions
successfully established a creative publishing department working with
other authors and utilizing the talented design services of Graphix
Communications to produce several well-received print publications.
Recently
published projects include, Chameleon: hanging by my tale,
written by Edward Lawrence Fassel and the soon-to-be completed The
True Art of Raising Keenan, written by Art Sapanli, which is
currently being translated into Turkish and published for both the
Middle East and U.S. markets.
Currently,
Stevens is completing a series of autobiographical short stories,
entitled:
I Married the
Waterman: Southern Tales of Love & Woe
and
Under the Magnolias,
a TV pilot which Stevens describes as “Sex and the City Goes South!”
Nationally
recognized by the Associated Press, The Vision Awards and nominated two
years in a row as one of San Diego’s Women Who Mean Business, Elaine
Stevens is an active volunteer in a number of multi-cultural
humanitarian organizations involved in assisting at-risk youth, the
culturally deprived and animal welfare.
