RAIDERS BOYS ROLL FILM

For Gulf Coast  Writers at the Silver Screen

It’s your lucky day, movie buffs—just remember the number 7: On Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 7 P. M. for $7 you can see the internationally acclaimed cult classic “Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation” at the Silver Screen, Edgewater Village Shopping Center, Biloxi.  Produced by Mississippi independent filmmakers Jayson Lamb, Chris Strompolos and Eric Zala, the adventure film took seven years for the boys to complete and now Hollywood is making a movie about them.  Proceeds from the screening will benefit Gulf Coast Writers Association’s summer membership drive.  For one night only first time members can join Gulf Coast Writers Association for seven dollars valid through May 2006 and children age seven and under may see the movie free.  Wear your best Indiana Jones costume and you will be entered to win the Raiders costume contest along with a feature prize to be announced at the screening.  This one night engagement is a rare opportunity to see the now legendary Spielberg endorsed fan film that has made news all over the world.  Producer, Chris Strompolos and Director, Eric Zala will be in attendance as they are currently writing and scouting locations for their next film to be shot exclusively in Mississippi.   A lively Q & A to be held afterwards.
